AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO ORGANISATIONAL DESIGN

We believe that organisational design and development is far much more than just strategy and structure, it is the integration of strategy, plans, structure, processes, human resources/people, culture, systems and technology. 

We improve organisation performance by advising on the value proposition with regards to Rewards and Remuneration which if not attended to, may pose potential (obvious or hidden) element of derailing the organistion from achievement of its strategic intent.

ORGANISATIONAL REVIEW & ASSESSMENT

We assess the existing organisational structures, roles, and business processes to identify potential problems resulting from interrelationships of accountabilities – a common source of frustration – and develop solutions to proactively overcome these issues.

STRATEGY ALIGNMENT

We facilitate strategy sessions with management teams to assist them agree collectively on the most important elements of their strategic goals and objectives. We further review and develop strategic plans to help direct and focus organisation efforts.

ROLE CLARITY

We help organisations to create a clear line-of-sight between business objectives and the roles required to deliver results.  When needed, we redesign jobs, develop job profiles/descriptions and define reporting lines in order to eliminate challenges in accountability. We align, confirm, streamline and standardize all jobs and job families.

Performance management can focus on performance of the organisation, a department, processes to build a product or service, employees, etc.

JOB GRADING

We conduct proper grading of posts across the organisation and benchmark jobs according to their specific market and best practice.

Performance Management

We assist organisations with the development of a performance management model, tools and templates to ensure that goals are consistently met, efficiently and effectively.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

We assist organisations with the development of a performance management model/system, tools and templates that ensure that goals are consistently being met in an effective and efficient manner. Performance management can focus on performance of the organisation, a department, processes to build a product or service, employees, etc. Activities involve:

Design and develop Performance management guidelines & policies
Develop Divisional Performance scorecards
Develop Employee and Individual Performance scorecards
Develop Performance Review process/ procedure and review cycles
Conduct training on Performance Management

REWARD & REMUNERATION

We assist in the development of the reward practices and their bases to be applied within Organisations. This is established as a strategic guideline to support the more detailed Rewards Policy. In practical terms, the areas that are covered at a strategic level are:

Reward objectives and Reward Strategy design principles
Setting of pay levels and positioning pay relative to the market
Determining the Pay Mix
Guaranteed Pay – Benefit design (in context of Total package)
Development of incentive scheme design
Recommendations on a conducive Payroll system
